                            had a large family - lived in Sydney, Australia

                                sons were            Philip,  John,  Noel,  Wolford  & Adrian

                            married Fred Dietrich cannot find on SA or Vic marriages.

                            2 sons and 1 daughter lived in Melbourne Australia
                            (family notes say Max & Philip in business in Melbourne, Victoria -
                            sister Margaret was not married.  - this has not been confirmed)

 

 

                                  The name WOLFORD has been retained in the Ewens family.

                           Wolford is a small town in Devon, England and also a Surname -

                           where the connection came from is not yet known.

 

                           Wolford was aged 2 when the "Prince Regent" arrived in Australia.

                           He engaged in pastoral work near Penola and Robe (south east, South Australia).

                           Later joined the Police force and retired to Mt Pleasant due to ill health.
