The name WOLFORD has been retained in the Ewens family.
Wolford is a small town in Devon, England and also a Surname -
where the connection came from is not yet known.
Wolford was aged 2 when the "Prince Regent" arrived in Australia.
He engaged in pastoral work near Penola and Robe (south east, South Australia).
Later joined the Police force and retired to Mt Pleasant due to ill health.
