                            From a Family Tree Scroll which  was discovered in a Car Boot Sale in 2007.
                            Further research on the names on the scroll have led to the following -

CARNE

John, Sherif of Glamorgan a1561
married
Margaret Ragland

 c1565                   (settlement date)        Cicely married Giles Kemeys of Westgate House,
                              Maesglas Castle, Rogerstone and Sutton.  There was no issue from this
                              marriage and Giles died in 1595.
aft Aug 1584         Giles 2nd married and had issue with Margaret Kemeys, dau of
                              Roger Kemeys of Bedminster, England
                              five known children

                              Mary who married Edward Pritchard, Esq, of Lancalach,
                              Sherif of Glamorgan, a 1599

                             Elizabeth who married James Mathew, Esq. of Roose

                             Barbara married James Turberville of of Sutton in Llandow, Wales

                             Jane married William Griffiths of Llanveythin

                             Catherine married Edward Bassett of Fishwear (In St Marys Church,
                             heir of Bewper)
